Working Principle
When the pressure decreases, the boiling point of the solvent decreases accordingly. When the pressure drops to a certain level, the solvent begins to boil. To prevent sample evaporation and cross-contamination, high-speed centrifugal rotation technology is used to ensure that the sample remains in the sample tube without spraying out. The centrifuge chamber has a temperature control module to control the temperature inside the centrifuge chamber. By selecting the appropriate temperature, the concentration efficiency can be increased while ensuring the safety of the sample.
The vacuum pump maintains the entire system in a high vacuum state, reducing the boiling point of the solvent and speeding up the concentration process. Solvent vapor is removed from the centrifuge chamber by the vacuum pump. The pumping speed of the vacuum pump limits the concentration speed, so an effective condensation trap is needed to condense the solvent vapor before it reaches the vacuum pump. The condensation trap quickly condenses the solvent vapor before it reaches the vacuum pump, maintaining the vacuum level of the entire system, thereby accelerating the concentration process and protecting the vacuum pump from corrosion by solvent vapor.
